Celebrate National Library Week! 4/23 - 4/29

Celebrate National Library week from April 23rd – April 29th!

According to the American Library Association, “National Library Week is a time to celebrate our nation's libraries, library workers' contributions and promote library use and support. First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and observed in libraries across the country each April. All types of libraries - school, public, academic and special - participate.

National Library Week 2023 will be celebrated with the theme "There's More to the Story." Libraries are full of stories in a variety of formats from picture books to large print, audiobooks to ebooks, and more. But there's so much more to the story! From our Library of Things that lends items like museum passes and games, to our programming that brings communities together for entertainment, education, and connection, this week we celebrate our multi-faceted story!
