Event Details
Registration for this program will begin on April 1st. Did you know that the Queen Bee is "Royalty"? Can you correctly identify which is the Queen Bee, the drones and the worker bees? Learn about the importance of honeybees for pollination, food and flowers. View a Power Point with photos of bees as you learn about the different roles that each of these bees play in the daily life of a honeybee colony. Children will be shown a small hive (without the bees) and learn about the feeding of the bees and the tools a professional beekeeper uses along with his/her suit.
