Classical Pianist Mark Valenti

A gifted pianist from Chicago will be on Long Island for a special performance at the Harborfields Public Library on Sunday, October 16th at 2:30 PM

Pianist Mark Valenti has performed solo recitals in France, Belgium, Hungary and Luxembourg as well as in several U.S. cities, including Washington, D.C. where he played for former First Lady Barbara Bush. In addition to classical music, Valenti has extensive experience playing jazz piano, including performances with Gregory Hines, Frank Foster and Al Grey. This performance will include pieces featuring the elegant gracefulness of Classicism to the passionate lyricism of Romanticism through the atmospheric Impressionism of Debussy to the rhythmic percussiveness of Modernism.
