How can you make a vase look three dimensional with shadows and highlights? Learn shading and modeling techniques as you explore the wonders of charcoal drawing. This workshop will teach you basic charcoal drawing skills and give you an overview of charcoal supplies. Guided by Joyce Raimondo, Education Coordinator at the Pollock-Krasner House & Study Center.

Supplies needed to participate: vine and compresses charcoal, several sheets of paper, kneaded eraser, blending stump, water, paint brush.
