Longtime Playbill editor Robert Viagas spent most of his adult life breathing the air of Broadway’s back-stages. He has authored or edited 22 books on the performing arts and has served on the committee that makes the annual Tony Awards nominations. 

Inside the Tony Awards With a Tony Awards Insider will feature the hottest races in the 2024 Tonys, with a look at the backstories on how the nominated shows were created, which are the tightest categories, which audience favorites were snubbed, and what to watch for on Broadway’s big night! Plus, a quick look at the season ahead. The 2024 Tony Awards show is scheduled for June 16.  The presentation will include photos, and brief video clips followed by time for Q & A .  Please register.
