Program Description

Event Details

This is a two week program. When you sign up you are registering for both weeks. Week 1: Learn how to make rolled cookies using your choice of cookie cutters for your holiday celebration. These cookies are as tasty as they are delicious. Materials needed from home: Measuring cups and measuring spoons, Whisk, Large and medium bowls, Standing or hand mixer, Cookie sheets, Parchment paper, Rolling pin, Cookie cutters, Metal spatula Ingredients Needed: Flour, Sugar, Butter, Egg, Vanilla, Baking powder, Almond extract optional

Week 2: Decorating cookies: Learn to make royal icing and how to pipe beautiful designs on the holiday cookies you made last week. Materials needed from home: Medium bowl, Standing or hand mixer, Measuring cups and spoons, Metal spatula, Rubber scraper, Cookie sheets with parchment Ingredients needed: Confectionery sugar, Food coloring

Kits will be available for each week and may be picked up in the Children's Room or through curbside delivery beginning December 1st.
