Event Details
Learn all about our local sea life including clams, oysters, hermit crabs, spider crabs, sea stars and horseshoe crabs as you observe and hold all the animals during this program. Observe the different invertebrates that inhabit the local waters of Oyster Bay and Long Island Sound. Explore different characteristics that help identify species and learn about locomotion, feeding behavior, and their habitat.

*IMPORTANT* When registering yourself or your child for a program, Harborfields Library cardholders should select YES to "Do you have a library card?" If the Adult program requires residency, non-residents will be placed on a wait list and permitted to attend as space allows. All Children's programs requiring residency are limited to Harborfields patrons only.
Due to the high demand to attend Children’s programs, please notify us or follow the link in the confirmation email to cancel your registration if you are unable to attend. Patrons on the waitlist will be notified if a space in the program becomes available.
