Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for our annual summer outdoor concert.  This year we will enjoy the music of rising star Liz Chidester from New York City. She is a critically acclaimed and award winning Americana singer/songwriter, actor, teaching artist, and ukulelist. Liz’s power is in her versatility. Her repretoire includes folk, jazz, rock, pop, blues, country, and disco.  There's something for everyone! Singing for over a decade with multiple bands of different genres on stages all over the US, Europe, and at sea on Virgin Voyages, Carnival Cruise Lines, and Holland America Line.  For this performance she is joined by band members Nilko Andreas (vocals, guitar, bass), andPablo Bencid (drums) and Liz Chidester (lead vocals, guitar, 'ukulele) who will treat the audience to an exlectic mis of popular and original music.  On February 1, 2023, the band released a 10 year anniversary single “People Pumping Pedals (A Decade Down the Line)” produced by Nilko Andreas in Azlo Production Studios NYC to commemorate a decade of making music. Liz is a member of the Recording Academy and the Folk Alliance International. She continues to perform in NYC, Chicago, and across the US and Europe and now for the Harborfields Community sponsored by the Friends of the Library.  A rain date has been set for Wednesday, August 2nd in the event of inclement weather.  Watch the Library website for any updates.
