Event Details
Any day can be Shark Week with this program dedicated to everyone's favorite fish. Participants can learn about myths and facts surrounding shark behavior and shark attacks with real life shark attack survivor, Scott Curatolo-Wagemann from Cornell Cooperative Extension. Sharks and their portrayal in the media and pop culture will be discussed. Participants will have the opportunity to see and touch shark jaws and teeth and take part in a virtual shark dissection. Sharks in the news and efforts to conserve and research will be presented as well.

If the Adult program requires residency, non-residents will be placed on a wait list and permitted to attend as space allows. All Children's programs requiring residency are limited to Harborfields patrons only.
Due to the high demand to attend Children’s programs, please notify us or follow the link in the confirmation email to cancel your registration if you are unable to attend. Patrons on the waitlist will be notified if a space in the program becomes available.
