Teens Connect: Paracord Bracelets for Troops and First Responders

Not only are paracord bracelets fun to make and look cool, they can actually be used to save a life in an emergency situation. The paracord bracelet gets it name from parachute cord and can hold up to 550 lbs of weight.  They can be used to secure camouflage nets to trees or vehicles, build a makeshift shelter and make a sling or splint.  Please register to make the bracelets and earn 1 hour of community service.  Kits will be available upon registration.  Please see the video link attached for instructions.  If you need a left handed tutorial please let us know.  Please return completed bracelets by 7/31.
