Teens Connect
Teens Connect Volunteer Programs are promoted in the library’s monthly newsletter and on our webpage. Teens in grades 7 through 12 can earn community service hours by volunteering and attending a variety of programs involving various organizations, such as Huntington Meals on Wheels, Guide Dog Foundation, Little Shelter Animal Rescue, Family Service League, and many others.
Study Buddies is a program for Harborfields High School students in grades 9 through 12 to volunteer their time helping students in grades 1 through 8 prepare for exams, and manage school assignments.
Teens in grades 7 through 12 can also join the Junior Friends of the Library.
