After her fiance's death, a young woman named Jenny (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) tries to ease the pain of her loss by sending romantic texts to his old cell phone number. The number has since been reassigned to a man named Jason (Sam Heughan), and the two of them begin to form a connection through their text exchanges. As they get to know each other better, Jenny and Jason realize that they have more in common than they thought, and they begin to fall in love. However, their relationship is complicated by the fact that Jenny is still grieving the loss of her fiance, and she is not sure if she is ready to move on. In the end, Jenny must decide whether to let go of her past and embrace a new love with Jason.
